Jordan Roland Is On A Roll (See What We Did There?)
In addition to being named CAA Player of the Week on Nov. 11, Jordan Roland was tabbed the Lou Henson Award National Player of the Week.
After setting a career high with 39 points in Northeastern’s season-opening win over Boston University, Jordan Roland upped the ante, posting 42 points in the Huskies’ home-opening win against Harvard.

Roland’s 42 points set a Northeastern program record, breaking the previous mark of 41 held by J. J. Barea (vs. Stony Brook; March 5, 2006) and Reggie Lewis (vs. Siena; Feb. 19, 1986).
The effort tied for the ninth-most in CAA history, equaling efforts by Delaware’s Davon Usher (Feb. 5, 2014), JMU’s Kent Culko (Dec. 22, 1993) and George Mason’s Carlos Yates (Feb. 27, 1985).

Roland’s 81 points in Northeastern’s first two games are the most by a Division I player against Division I competition in at least 10 years, per ESPN Stats and Info.
