Clark scored a team-high 21 points to lead Stony Brook to an 81-56 victory over Cornell in its non-conference finale. The Seawolves extended their winning streak to five games as the graduate forward shot 9-of-11 (81.1%) from the floor with five rebounds, two steals and one block. It marks her second game with 20 or more points this season, and she has reached double figures nine times. Additionally, Clark has shot over 60.0 percent from the floor in seven contests, ranking seventh nationally in field goal percentage (66.7%).

Pass stuffed the stat sheet, leading Elon to a 74-66 road victory over High Point to close out its non-conference slate. The freshman guard tallied a game-high 20 points and matched a season-best eight assists while adding six rebounds with two steals. It is her second game with 20 or more points this season, and one point shy of her season high. Pass has at least 10 points and five assists in three straight games and has reached double figures scoring in six consecutive contests.
CONFERENCE NOTES:
CAA PLAY IS ON THE WAY: Conference play begins on Friday with all 14 teams in action. The CAA slate tips off at 6 p.m., as Drexel hosts Hampton and North Carolina A&T entertains Charleston. At 6:30 p.m., Campbell makes its league debut against 10-1 Stony Brook on Long Island. Four games follow at 7 p.m., including the defending CAA Champs, Monmouth, looking to extend its winning streak to six against W&M. The opening weekend of league play wraps up with a seven-game Sunday.
NON-CONFERENCE RECAP: Seven CAA teams finished non-conference play with a winning record. Stony Brook led the way, posting a 10-1 mark, with multiple five-game winning streaks. Charleston went 8-3, including a 6-0 record at home, while Towson (7-3), Campbell (7-4) and Monmouth (7-4) tallied seven in the win column. Additionally, Hofstra and North Carolina A&T went 6-5.
NOTHING BUT NET: As of Friday, Jan. 1, Stony Brook remained in the top 100 of the NCAA NET Rankings at No. 57, the highest ranking in CAA history. Additionally, eight more teams cracked the top 200, with Monmouth (168) and North Carolina A&T reaching their highest rank this season. Drexel (162), William & Mary (189), Towson (193), Campbell (194), Delaware (198) and Charleston (199) remained amongst the top 200.
CAA HOOPS IN THE MID-MAJOR TOP 25: Two CAA teams were recognized in the latest College Insider Mid-Major Top 25 poll. Stony Brook and Towson remained ranked for the sixth straight week. The Seawolves rose to No. 9, and the Tigers were at No. 23. Towson has cracked the rankings in each poll this season, and multiple conference teams have received recognition in five consecutive weeks.
TEAM NOTES:
• Campbell fell to High Point, 48-47, in its non-conference finale, which featured three ties and three lead changes in the final minute. It concluded the non-conference slate for the CU.
• Svenia Nürenberg paced Campbell with 10 points while adding six rebounds and two assists. Nürenberg has reached double figures three times this season.
• Gemma Núñez contributed eight points, six rebounds, two assists and two steals in the effort. It marks her second game with five points and five rebounds this year.
• Charleston closed its non-conference schedule 2-0 with wins over South Carolina State (84-64) and Radford (74-50).
• Alexis Andrews averaged 23.5 points per game, including a career-high 32 points against South Carolina State. She went 12-of-21 from behind the arc, with nine makes in her career effort.
• Jenna Annecchiarico tallied 14.5 points and 11.5 assists per game for the Cougs. She recorded her second double-double this season with 10 points and a program-record 14 assists against South Carolina State.
• Delaware dropped its non-conference to Harvard, 88-58. Harvard ended the first quarter on an 8-0 run, which they extended to 22-0 to build an insurmountable lead.
• Klarke Sconiers paced Delaware with 15 points on 7-of-10 shooting. Sconiers added five rebounds and one steal. It marks her sixth game in double figures this season.
• Ande’a Cherisier matched a career-high with 13 points. The freshman added a team-high seven rebounds in 16 minutes off the bench. It is her third 13-point output this year.
• Drexel held Arcadia to 12 points in the first half, defeating the Knights 63-39 in its non-conference finale.
• Chloe Hodges shot 6-of-8 from the floor, pacing the Dragons with 12 points. The senior forward added seven rebounds, four assists and three steals.
• Hetta Saatman contributed a season-best 12 points, shooting 4-of-7 from the field. It marked her first game with 10 or more points this season.
• Elon outscored High Point 44-28 in the first half on Saturday to win its non-conference finale 74-66. The Phoenix has won back-to-back games heading into league play.
• Maraja Pass paced Elon with 20 points while adding eight assists, six rebounds and two steals. The freshman has reached double figures in six straight games.
• Iycez Adams added 13 points and a team-best seven rebounds. She also had two blocks and two steals defensively. Adams has at least 10 points in three consecutive contests.
• Hampton concluded its non-conference schedule 0-2, falling to Georgia Southern (74-48) in a neutral site contest before a setback against Saint Peter’s (69-58) at home.
• Against Saint Peter’s, Jenae Dublin set season highs in points and rebounds. The junior paced Hampton with 12 points while grabbing six boards.
• Cheyenne Talbot led the Lady Pirates with 13 points against Georgia Southern. It marks her third game in double figures this season.
• The Pride dropped its non-conference finale to Manhattan 53-45. Hofstra was outscored 19-10 in the first quarter and could not overcome the slow start.
• Zyheima Swint recorded 12 points and 10 rebounds for her second double-double in a row. The senior added two blocks and one steal. Swint has three double-doubles this year.
• Emma Von Essen contributed 10 points with three rebounds. Von Essen has surpassed double figures in nine straight games.
• Monmouth closed its non-conference slate with a 91-51 win over Georgian Court, extending its winning streak to five. It marks the most points for the Hawks since 2007-08.
• Kaci Donovan totaled 20 points and a season-high eight rebounds. It is her second 20-point effort this season, and Donovan has reached double figures eight times.
• Rosalie Mercille added a season-best 20 points to the winning effort. The freshman shot 7-of-15 from the floor with three three-pointers.
• N.C. A&T surpassed 20 points in each of the final three quarters to win its third straight game, defeating Avertt 90-30 in its final non-conference clash.
• D’Mya Tucker paced A&T with 22 points on 9-of-15 shooting. She has at least 20 points in back-to-back games and three times this year. Tucker added three rebounds and two steals.
• Maleia Bracone contributed 18 points and eclipsed 1,000 career points in the effort. Bracone added a season-best eight assists with five steals and four rebounds.
• Four Seahawks scored in double figures, but it wasn’t enough as UNCW fell to Norfolk State (96-55) in its non-conference finale.
• Evan Miller paced UNCW with 20 points while adding five rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block. Miller has reached double figures in three straight games and seven times this season.
• McCall King, Mary Ferrito and Kylah Silver (10p) joined Miller in double figures. King and Ferrito had season highs with 11 and 10 points, respectively.
• Northeastern fell to Boston U in overtime 83-80 to close its non-conference slate. NU led 45-37 at halftime but was outshot 51.4 percent to 33.3 percent the rest of the way.
• Derin Erdogan paced NU with 21 points while adding five assists, five rebounds and four steals. Erdogan has reached double figures in five straight games and eight this year.
• Deja Bristol reached double figures with 14 points and grabbed six rebounds. Bristol has 10 or more points four times this season.
• Five Seawolves finished in double figures as Stony Brook defeated Cornell 81-56 in its non-conference finale. SBU enters CAA play on a five-game winning streak.
• Khari Clark paced Stony Brook with 21 points, shooting an efficient 9-of-11 from the floor. It marks her second game with 20 or more this season.
• Shamarla King notched a double-double for the Seawolves with 11 points and 10 rebounds. It was her first double-double of the season and third of her career.
• Towson dropped its non-conference finale against George Mason, 83-76. The Tigers played to an 11-point halftime lead but were outscored 45-27 in the second half.
• Kylie Kornegay-Lucas paced Towson with 22 points and 14 rebounds, nearly recording a triple-double with eight assists. Kornegay-Lucas has two double-doubles this season.
• Aminata Diakite added 15 points in the effort, which is two shy of her season high. Diakite went 6-of-8 from the floor, connecting on 2-of-3 from behind the arc.
• W&M finished its non-conference schedule with a setback to No. 15/14 Virginia Tech, 76-43. The Tribe was within three at halftime but was outscored 49-19 in the second half.
• Bella Nascimento tallied a career-high 22 points in the effort. It marks her second 20-point performance this season, while she has reached double figures on nine occasions.
• Cassidy Geddes added nine points off the bench for the Tribe, and Kayla Beckwith grabbed a team-high six rebounds.
